The Victoria Poppy Fund’s annual Poppy Campaign includes bagging poppies to put in poppy trays to distribute to businesses and shopping centers. With COVID this was a perfect activity to do at home and our members quickly responded. In a couple days, we completed 100,000 poppies by bagging them in bags of 100. We will be helping with other activities such as delivering poppies, pinning ribbons on wreaths and being available for 2-3 hour shifts at malls to distribute poppies and collect donations.
This is a perfect example of how our Club lives the Lions mission ‘To Serve’ in our Community!
